How verification works

Sign up with your school email address. If your school runs on Google, choose "Continue with Google" and use your school account; you're verified the moment you sign in. Otherwise, create an account with your school email and a password, then click the confirmation link we send you.

Your address has to end in .edu. Alumni addresses, such as the lifetime ones some schools hand out after graduation, don't qualify.

When you graduate

We check your school email once a year. When you are no longer a student, or after four years, your plan moves to the standard SledgeKey+ price of $22 a month or $220 a year. We will tell you before that happens, and you can cancel from your account at any point before then.

If your school already has a Bloomberg lab

If you can get a seat, use it, because a terminal is the best data desk you will have as a student and knowing your way around one matters. The trouble is access: lab seats are shared, usually booked in blocks, and they stay on campus when you go home.

SledgeKey covers the work that happens on your own schedule.
